I love the Greeks
they worked so hard
at figuring things out
even if sometimes
they got it wrong
like:
some Greek thought
the reason we see
is because our eyes
are actually spotlights
illuminating the scene
years went by
then
some other Greek
might have been Plato
asked –
how come they don’t work
at night?
Duh.
They also never
came up with “blue”
hence the wine dark sea.
With Oedipus
they were
right on the money.
Do Not
(no matter what the
reason)
Grow up to be a
Mother-Fucker.
